For this home in Swifterbant, we renovated a flat roof by overlaying the existing roof with a new bitumen top layer. The existing roofing was still in a sufficiently stable condition but showed clear signs of wear and aging. Additionally, the roof trims were due for replacement, and the connection between the roof and the facade was no longer optimal. The connections along the facade have also been refinished, so that rainwater no longer has the opportunity to penetrate under the roof covering.
During the work, careful consideration was given to existing components such as the air conditioning systems and rainwater drainage. As a result, all details could be neatly integrated into the renewed roof finish without compromising the watertightness of the roof.

Upon completion of the work, the entire roof was inspected for finish and watertightness. The photos show a sleekly finished roof with neat bitumen sheets, carefully executed connections, and new roof trims that give the whole a well-kept appearance. By overlaying the roof, a cost-effective renovation was achieved without the need to completely remove the existing roofing.
